As if hoping for a gotcha second to show that Georgia’s voter suppression invoice is not racist, Senator John Kennedy (R–LA) challenges Stacey Abrams by asking her to “simply give me an inventory of the provisions you object to.” However when she simply rattles off her many factors, Kennedy turns into agitated and interrupts her each step of the best way.
First he interrupts her mid-sentence and asks her to repeat her first three factors, blaming it on the clear-as-a-bell audio. He then interrupts her once more, asking her to make clear her very succinct third level, however when she begins to make clear, he interrupts her but once more, dashing her with an impatient “What else?” After which just a few moments later, after she lists extra factors, he interrupts her with, “Is that every one?” When Abrams says, “No, it’s not,” and lists two extra factors, Kennedy offers up the entire charade and tells her to cease. “Okay, I get the thought. I get the thought.” Abrams was ready and in prime kind, as she all the time is. In the meantime, the befuddled senator and his check backfired spectacularly.
