The remaining Monkees announced a farewell tour | Boing Boing


In September, the final dwelling Monkees, Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz, will hit the highway for what they are saying is their farewell tour after 55 years. From a press launch:

“The Monkees Farewell Tour” will characteristic songs that span the band’s complete profession – from their 1966 self-titled debut album to 2016’s Good Occasions! Their most up-to-date launch, The Monkees – The Mike & Micky Present Reside, was issued in April 2020 and have become their seventeenth Billboard charting album launch. Along with their hits, their farewell exhibits will highlight songs featured on their Emmy-winning TV collection (“The Lady I Knew Someplace,” “You Informed Me,” “Randy Scouse Git,” “Goin’ Down” and “For Pete’s Sake”) in addition to music from their characteristic movie Head (“Circle Sky” and “As We Go Alongside”). Plus some hardly ever carried out deep cuts (comparable to “Auntie’s Municipal Court docket”) and tracks from their most-recent studio album, 2016’s Good Occasions!
