Boing Boing readers are possible aware of the artwork of Steven Rhodes (even when you do not know his title). He is the man who sells TV shirts with pictures paying homage to harmless 50s and 60s Dick and Jane and Little Golden E-book cowl artwork. The place these books sported titles (and accompanying artwork) like Dick and Jane Play and Faux, Dick and Jane Enjoyable With Our Household, and The Little Golden E-book of Animal Mates, Rhodes’ fake cowl artwork carries titles like Let’s Summon Demons, My First Knife Battle, and Promote Your Soul: Financial for Youngsters (I personal this one).

Now, Rhodes has teamed up with sport makers Cryptozoic Studios (creators of the Rick & Morty boardgames and Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards) to crowdfund three games inspired by his artwork. The video games are Let’s Dig for Treasure (a push-your-luck cardgame of grave robbing), Let’s Summon Demons (the place children of all ages promote their souls to turn out to be high the summoner), and Do not Discuss to Strangers (an alien abduction boardgame).
Seems to be like a great deal of mild (darkish?) gaming enjoyable for the entire household! Being funded on Kickstarter now.
