Researchers grew mice embryos in artificial wombs

In what’s held as a serious scientific breakthrough, researchers on the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel grew a whole bunch of mice embryos inside synthetic wombs. The work raises profound moral questions on whether or not animals – and by extension people – needs to be developed outdoors of a dwelling womb.
