Like rolling the 20-sided die whereas watching Hanna-Barbera reveals on a Saturday morning, Rocktober’s Jake Austen describes the upcoming graphic novel Super Magical Forest from Revival Press as “Yogi Bear meets Lord of the Rings”. The factor I like about this guide is Ansis Purins’ great illustrations. The economical use of shade and the best way he is ready to depict utter chaos with assured line work is pleasant.
“Twit Leaf the Elf’s day job is selecting berries within the Magic Forest, deep inside a busy nationwide state park. He’d relatively be a mighty warrior elf like his grandpa was. In the future he wanders into the picnic space and finds a mysterious glowing field that some people left behind. Instantly he is tasked with the heroic quest he at all times needed! He’s to return the vexing talisman to the shadowy Wizard who resides by the customer heart.”
