An enormous chunk of Freeway 1 simply fell into the ocean twenty miles south of the magical city of Huge Sur, California. The collapse resulted from the atmospheric river drenching the state with intense rain. From SFGate:

Caltrans spokesperson Jim Shivers mentioned the harm to the freeway is named a slip out. “It is the place we lose part of the freeway and now we’re dealing with a challenge to wash and restore that stretch,” Shivers mentioned. “That is the one location we’re conscious of the place this occurred within the storm. Our upkeep staff is patrolling the freeway now to search for different harm.”
