  1. I did a Udacity Nanodegree (data analysis intro course) and here was my experience

    1) Yes, you can finish the course in a month, however if you find the material is challenging and you’re not a full time student, it can be difficult. If you’re studying alone at home and are not in a group, it can be quite challenging to motivate yourself to finish the course in a month’s time.

    2) You’re highly encouraged to collaborate with your peers, solve problems as a group, help other students, and check in with your course adviser (i.e. participation credits). If you’re able to ace through a class without any of these, you’re already overqualified.

    3) The difficulty curves really vary from program to program. I breezed through the first part of my class because I had a background in stats, but when it came to learning python, I hit a brick wall. The course forum made it apparent that this was where a lot of people had difficulty and stopped the course altogether. In short, Udacity sort of expects you to have an inherent aptitude for some skills. I suspect this is where group work can really help.

  2. I do not see it stating anywhere about free access, even on their blog it says nothing about that. Can you confirm what you are speaking about? Like is there a formal statement where they say they are offering that?

  3. Question : if someone is reallt allocating a lot of tike would it be possible to finish a program faster or it really needs the stated months ?
