Steve Hotze, a rich Republican donor, was so determined to search out proof of voter fraud in Harris County, Texas, that he tasked investigators with searching for it. One in all them, an ex-cop, rammed a van he thought was loaded with “unlawful” ballots. But it was not, and the ex-cop is now in jail.
Mark Aguirre was engaged on behalf of a robust Republican megadonor’s group to analyze unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud when, in October, he allegedly pulled a gun on a person described by the Harris County district legal professional’s workplace as an “harmless and unusual” air conditioner repairman. Aguirre was arrested Tuesday, based on the Harris County district legal professional’s workplace.
Here is Harris County District Lawyer Kim Ogg: “He crossed the road from soiled politics to fee of a violent crime, and we’re fortunate nobody was killed. His alleged investigation was backward from the beginning – first alleging a criminal offense had occurred after which attempting to show it occurred.”
Everybody appears to know that MAGA is going to melt down in January when it sinks in that Trump is not going to be president anymore.
However what everybody would not know is that the meltdown may have a price range.
Prosecutors say Aguirre’s election fraud claims have been baseless and that he was paid $266,400 by the group Liberty Middle for God and Nation, whose CEO is outstanding Texas right-wing activist Steven Hotze.
