AWS has launched a new tool to let developers move data from one store to another known as Glue Elastic Views.
On the AWS:Invent keynote CEO Andy Jassy introduced Glue Elastic Views, a service that lets programmers transfer information throughout a number of information shops extra seamlessly.
The brand new service can take information from disparate silos and transfer them collectively. That AWS ETL service permits programmers to jot down a bit of little bit of SQL code to have a materialized view tht can transfer from one supply information retailer to a different.
As an illustration, Jassy mentioned, a programmer can transfer information from DynamoDB to Elastic Search permitting a developer to arrange a materialized view to repeat that information — all of the whereas managing dependencies. Meaning if information modifications within the supply information lake, then it would mechanically be up to date within the different information shops the place the information has been relocated, Jassy mentioned.
“When you will have the flexibility to maneuver information… and transfer that information simply from information retailer to information retailer… that’s extremely highly effective,” mentioned Jassy.
